The Acting Vice Chancellor of the Institution, Professor Smaranda Olarinde said : “Asiwaju Tinubu was not being honoured on the basis of his soaring political credentials as the institution is not a political entity. She said Tinubu was considered worthy because of his unparralled selfless services to humanity and nation building.
Professor Olarinde disclosed that Tinubu has helped thousands to rediscover lost destinies and given hope to the hopeless by providing a compass for those wandering in the wilderness of difficulties and uncertainties.”
The Vice Chancellor added that : “We didn’t consider Asiwaju BOLA TINUBU’S political career, but he was found worthy because of his immense contribution to humanity and various selfless Services that surpass those of anybody else in NIGERIA.” What a Befitting TESTIMONY to a dogged FIGHTER!!! ….more feathers to the CAP of a Great Leader of men and women.
