It is very important that i make this known to the general public most especially my friends,relatives and fans across the globe what i am passing through now in Osun state since almost two months now.
Precisely in October this year 2024,there was a post that i made on my page here concerning the palliative rice that was widely reported by all newspapers in Nigeria where the president was reported to have given each ministers 1,200 bags of rice for Onward distributions in their respective state in Nigeria.
Having waited for when our state share of rice would be shared to the people of the state but,nothing was shortcomings,on September 30th 2024,our honorable minister representing Osun in the federal cabinet,HE Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola marked his 70th birthday and i watched a video of where rice are been given to some selected loyalists of the honorable minister and i was triggered to put up a post to that effect and i wrote “Did you know the that the rice that the our president gave as palliative to each minister,Oyetola is using his as birthday gift for his loyalists”
After this post which was made on 30th of September 2024, on 3rd of October about 4days after, I saw some police officers numbering about five came to my shop on that fateful Thursday and arrested me base on a petition that was written against me by Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola.
I slept four days in police headquarters before I was left off the hook on the following Monday 7th of October 2024.
Before i was released,i was made to tender public apologies on my Facebook page and as well did a newspaper publication on The Nation newspaper which was published as condition to allow the matter to slide.
After all the conditions have been met,the case was withdrawn and I became a free man but,since this day i was released,i have been on their watch list as they continue monitoring all my Facebook postings through spies.
On Monday November 15th evening again,i received a call from one Police officer (name withheld) with instruction that i should report myself at the police headquarters again (AKS) Anti Kidnapping Squad) to be precisely the next day, which i did and guess what? another issue has come up again which has to do with another Facebook post and this time around, it was about the backlogs of salary owed Osun workers by the previous administration led by Rauf Aregbesola and which his successor failed to pay but, which the present administration has started playing. In the said post, i praised governor Ademola Adeleke for paying the arrears which his predecessor in office failed to pay for four years.
Mr Moses Lohor,who is the OC anti kidnapping Squad said i have breached the condition for my release for making the post and still mentioned Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola’s name in it even after he has warmed me to desist from discussing anything that has to do with Oyetola on my page. At that junction, i vehemently disagreed with Mr Moses’s position with explanation that once someone has becomes a public figure like Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola,there is no way people won’t discuss him, most especially myself who is a public commentator.
This day,I was detained again for another two days between November 16th to November 18th that the court paper was handed over to me and i was released on administrative bail with condition that i will be showing up at state CID everyday by 9am until a date for my arraignment would be given and communicated to me.
This was how i kept on reporting at state CID until Tuesday 26th of November when i was dragged before a federal high court uninformed by the police.
The judge after requested for my lawyer and i responded i wasn’t duly and properly informed before bringing me before the court on that day adjourned the case to December 12th the year.
This particular information becomes necessary so that the general public would be duly aware of how some individuals have been using the federal power through a police who i believe is specially commissioned for this kind of assignment have been trampling upon my fundermental human right, harrassing me, intimidating me,threatening me with federal power in order to silence me. I wonder how the post that I made amount to cyber bullying or whatever.
I was advised by my lawyer to allow the matter slide and write public apologies for the first one because i was unable to substantiate my claims on the palliative rice which i did but,I later realized their motive after the second arrest where the OC Moses Lohor was telling me in the presence of my lawyer and friends that came to appeal to him to release me on bail that he want to advise me to start using my page to eulogizing and praising Oyetola henceforth as condition not to get myself in trouble again and possibly withdraw of charges against me before the court.
I wonder why i deserves this especially from someone i nearly lay down my life for him to become governor of the state in 2018/2019 even when those that vehemently opposed to him then were given appointments,what i am getting in returns for my own sacrifices that i made for Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola is harassment and intimidations ๐ญ๐ญ
I know my God will definitely fight for me except if i didn’t pay my dues in that party called APC and if i did vote for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become president in 2023.
