The suspension of Ade Adetimehin, the Ondo state APC chairman, by the executives of All Progressives Congress in Ofosu Ward, Idanre chapter, remains in effect. The ward executives are adamant that their decision was prompted by Adetimehin’s statement, in which he suggested that the military should take over.

This development is part of a larger pattern of internal conflicts within the APC. There have been other instances of party executives taking action against their leaders, highlighting the depth of the crisis within the party.

The ward executives’ insistence on upholding the suspension, despite facing intimidation, demonstrates their commitment to addressing what they see as a serious offense. As they put it, “anarchy is a great offense that shouldn’t be taken lightly.”

As it now, we have been mandated forcefully to see the Chairman this morning via a bus sent to pick us up, nevertheless our resolutions stand on his suspension.

“Public should be aware that if you see us denying our motive on papers or Media outlets such as TV . It’s a kangaroo just to satisfy his wishes so he won’t kill us. We are tired of him and he must be summoned for questioning for making that statement”.
