NASFAT OSUN ZONE’S WOMEN WING IN COLLABORATION WITH YOUTH WING, CELEBRATE 2024 WORLD HIJAB DAY
In commemoration of the 2024 World Hijab Day, NASFAT Osun Women’s wing and the Youth wing have organized an event which features a lecture and distribution of hijabs to students of secondary and primary schools in Ada, Osun State, Nigeria.
Leading the Women and the youth wings to the event were Alhaja Sherifat Onifade- Zonal Women Affairs Secretary, NASFAT Osun Zone and Bro AbdulKabeer Adedayo Sanni- Zonal Youth Secretary, NASFAT Osun Zone, respectively.
Female students and pupils of Ada Commercial Secondary Grammar School, Ada and Irewolede Primary School, Ada are the beneficiaries of the programme.
Lectures were delivered to the female pupils/students in their various schools by Dr Adepeju . A. Adigun and Alhaja Fausat Gbadamosi, respectively.
The team also paid a courtesy visit to the Aragbiji of Iragbiji Oba Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi and Olororuwo of Ororuwo Oba Qamarudeen Adeyemi Adeyanju.
The Olororuwo of Ororuwo commended all the efforts that NASFAT has made towards uplifting Islam by establishing schools and hospitals. He advised NASFAT to create a mass communication channel of their own which will help people to learn more about their religion (Islam).
The entourage observed the Jumah prayer at Ada Central Mosque, where the Chief Imam prayed for NASFAT Women Wing in the Zone and Worldwide at large. The Zonal Youth Secretary urged the muslims in Ada to launch NASFAT in the town, stating the importance of NASFAT to them.
He also appreciated the Chief Imam of Ada, who was a member of NASFAT in Iragbiji before his appointment as chief Imam in Ada town.
