2023: Group calls for nationwide prayers for Tinubu
A group has appealed to Nigerians, irrespective of their religious beliefs, to pray for the health and well-being of the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
National Coordinator of the Abdullah Newtwork Communication and Dicsiplecs of Jagaban, Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje made the call in a statement issued to journalists in Lagos, on Thursday.
According to the group, there is need for all well meaning Nigerians to pray for the Jagaban, especially considering the significant role the former Lagos State Governor played leading to the present democratic dispensation.
The group identified Tinubu as a father of the nation, who gave his all to see that the country’s nascent democracy succeeds, stressing that praying for the APC national leader, is not only a mark of respect but a recognition of Jagaban’s selfless service to the society.
“There are lots of uncertainties in the country presently, with challenges confronting the nation in almost every sphere of endeavour.
“We feel there is the need for Nigerians to identify with Tinubu at such moment and to pray for him for good health and for him to succeed in all his present and future undertakings,” Comrade Adegoke said.
The group specifically appealed to spiritual leaders across the country, to take up the challenge for a better Nigeria, even as the nation moves towards another political year come 2023.
In this regards, Abdullahi Network Communication, appealed to spiritual leaders, irrespective of faith, to put the nation in their prayers, for God to intervene with a view to addressing the prevailing challenges confronting the country.
“They should keep praying for the nation in order for God to intervene and bring to an end the prevailing challenges confronting the country,” Comrade Alawuje said.
