ADEORIOKIN ARTISANS FOOTBALL COMPETITION (AAFC’21)- THE OPENING MATCH.
It was a fantastic and a spine thrilling event at the EJIGBO BAPTIST HIGH SCHOOL, the opening match which came up between the BRICKLAYERS ASS. and the BARBERS ASS. of Ejigbo LGA.
The opening ceremony was a showcase of cultural dance event which was performed by a cultural group who entertained the invited guests and sportsmen.
The match ended in a stalemate amongst the two team a 1-1 draw was recorded, it was a fierce contest and very entertaining. The game was a fair contest both teams showed great sportsmanship spirit and they promoted the spirit of love and harmony, no casualty was recorded in the game and the officials shows professionalism in the officiating of the match.
Competitions like this brings communities, societies and regions together, thereby promoting love and harmony amongst them. Thanks to the sponsor of this wonderful event in person of DR RICHARD ADEKOLA IDOWU who has made it an obligation upon himself to make humanity thrive and promote love and peace amongst everyone (artisans) and the good people of EDE EJIGBO EGBEDORE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY at large.
In attendance were, Football Association (FA) chairman Ejigbo- comrade TF Salaam(he declared the event opened, Oba Ogunniyi Nureni Olayiwola (Olosinmo of Osinmo land) kicked off the game, the match officials(referees and linesmen), Hon. Yusuf Tajudeen (Pablo) represented the sponsor of the event in person of Dr Richard Adekola Idowu.
Other attendees,Chairman referee Ejigbo LG Alhaji Amidu Folaranmi(observer),Mr Paul Fiponmile was the event’s MC,chairmen of the hosted associations.And finally the ADE ORI OKIN Media Team.
