• Assures Continued Empowerment for Adeleke General Summit Members
The Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairman of the Adeleke General Summit and PDP Chairmanship Candidate, Ede South, Hon. Lukman Afolabi (Abere Soose), has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for his unprecedented developmental achievements across Osun State within just two years in office. Speaking at the 2024 End-of-Year Meeting and Prayer held at the Late Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke Memorial Hall, County Home, Ede, Hon. Afolabi described Governor Adeleke as “a God-sent leader to Osun State” and prayed for his continued governance until 2030.
“Governor Ademola Adeleke has brought remarkable development to Osun State and provided immense opportunities for members of the Adeleke General Summit. This government is for everyone. While some will benefit through appointments, others will gain through employment and empowerment initiatives,” Hon. Afolabi stated.
He highlighted the upcoming Local Government Elections in February 2025 as a pivotal moment for the Summit, expressing optimism about the emergence of more political appointees, including Local Government Chairmen and Councilors, from the Adeleke General Summit. “After the elections, there will be massive empowerment programs for our members, ensuring that everyone benefits from this administration’s inclusive approach,” he assured.
Hon. Afolabi also extended his gratitude to Senator Ajagunnla Olubiyi Fadeyi, representing Osun Central Senatorial District, for his recent massive empowerment initiatives, which have significantly impacted members of the Summit.
Urging unity among Adeleke General Summit members, Hon. Afolabi reaffirmed that Governor Adeleke’s administration is dedicated to fostering development and inclusivity. “This is a government of opportunities for all, and I encourage all members to remain united as we continue to benefit collectively from this transformative administration,” he added.
The event, which featured generous donations and the distribution of food items to members, reflected the unity and shared purpose of the Adeleke General Summit under the visionary leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
