AGF Celebrates Adeleye with Public Lecture
The Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, will on Thursday, the 21st of November celebrate a one-year remembrance of its immediate past Coordinator, Late Comrade Akintola Adeleye with an inaugural memorial lecture with the theme, “Youths Participation in Politics: A Case Study of Late Otunba Adeleye’s Ideology”.
In a statement released by the National Secretary of the Foundation, Ibrahim Ali-Balogun in Abuja today, the lecture which will take place at AB Hotel, Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital will have the Governor of the State, Dr Kayode Fayemi as the special guest of Honour, while the state Chairman of APC, Barrister Paul Omotosho will be the Guest of Honour.
He added that Hon Bola Ilori, a former Commissioner in the State of Osun and Otunba Kayode Fasae, the Director-General of Ekiti State Microfinance agency will be the Guest speakers at the event.
The AGF National Coordinator, Comrade Ishola Olateju will be joined at the event by Ajijola Oludare as Speakers. The State Coordinator of the Foundation, Hon. Muyiwa Olukosi will be the Chief Host of the event.
Ali-Balogun urged members of the Foundation and all lovers and supporters of Late Adeleye to come out in large numbers to celebrate him.
The late AGF National Coordinator slumped and died a year ago during a strategic meeting at Buhari/Osinbajo campaign office in Lagos. The meeting aimed at drumming support for the second term campaign of president Muhammad Buhari and Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
