Demonstrating commitment to the development and empowerment of the good people of Osun Central Senatorial district, Distinguished Senator Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi has launched a N2 billion Intervention Fund. This initiative aims to address various aspects of people’s welfare, infrastructure and empowerment of women and youths.
The intervention fund launch is accompanied by a series of impactful projects and contributions to enhance the well-being of Osun Central. The projects include the renovation of schools, installation of solar-powered boreholes, rehabilitation of 3 kilometers of roads, development of 7 kilometers of rural roads, promotion of sports, health insurance support and training programs covering Blue Economy, Digital Inclusion and Technology Transfer.
Additionally, Senator Ajagunla has initiated an International Sport event, the 4.5-kilometer Ajagunla Race in order to encourage a spirit of healthy competition and community engagement. The Bobamofin of Ondo Kingdom is also keen on forming partnerships with both local and foreign entities to further bolster community development initiatives.
Part of the comprehensive approach involves prioritizing youth and women empowerment, supporting small and medium-scale enterprises and ensuring the well-being of the elderly through dedicated health care programs.
The senator expressed his commitment to the betterment of Osun Central and the overall progress of Osun State. He emphasized the importance of collaboration and partnerships in achieving sustainable development goals and he lauded the collective effort of all stakeholders involved.
As a token of immediate impact, Senator Ajagunnla Olubiyi Fadeyi today at WOCDIF Centre, donated 11 buses to the PDP local governments and senatorial district, 50 motorcycles and grinding machines to facilitate transportation, mobility and economic activities within the senatorial district.
