Former Ekiti state governor,Kayode Fayemi paid condolence visit to the wife of the late Ondo state governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the residence of the late governor this afternoon.
in a release personally signed by Kayode Fayemi and made available to news men, Mr Kayode Fayemi described Aketi as a very good brother and political associations.

I visited the home of my late friend and brother, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), to extend my condolences to his wife, Betty, and the family. His passing has left me deeply saddened, and it is still hard coming to terms with the reality of it.
He was passionately committed to the principles of equity and fairness, which drove his outspoken stance on national issues. Despite being forthright and brave in expressing his opinions, they were always rooted in the pursuit of truth, justice, good governance, and national unity.
I find solace in the fact that his life was a remarkable service to his people. Aketi will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace.
