Aregbesola loyalist and social media commentator Hon Adabanija Kamorudeen Oladepo Mayegun  arraigns,case adjourned.

The popular social media commentator and Rauf Aregbesola loyalist popularly called ADABANIJA has been arraigned before a federal high court in Osogbo this morning.
Adabanija was arrested on October 3rd 2024 over a Facebook post that reads ” Do you know that the palliative rice given to all ministers by the federal government, Oyetola distributed it to his loyalists on his 70th birthday “

Adabanija was arrested and detained at Osun state Police CID for four days before he was released after he was asked to tender public apologies to HE Oyetola and publish it on the popular daily newspaper. He was released after he has publicized his apologies on his Facebook page and on the Nation newspaper.

On November 16th again, he was invited by the commander of Anti Kidnapping, Moses Lohor to report at the state CID again where he was alleged to have committed another offence again over another Facebook post that reads ” Backlogs of salary payment,kudos to governor Ademola Adeleke for the payment which Oyetola refused to pay”
When confronted with this post,Adabanija denying committed any offense and was released on bail two days after with a surety of level 10 civil servant and was asked to be reporting everyday at police CID anti kidnapping.
On getting to the state CID this morning around 9am,he was taken to the federal high court for arraignment which he never informed before. When the case was mentioned, the judge asked Hon Adabanija whereabouts of his lawyer which he responded that he was not aware that he would be charged to court today though he has been served the court papers since November 18th but no date was mentioned or fixed for the hearing of the matter until he was hurriedly brought before the court this morning.
The judge frown at the decision of the police prosecutor for not allowed the accused be aware of his arraignment to prepare his lawyer for the commencement of the hearing on the matter.
The court now adjourned the case to 12th of December 2024 for hearing and Adabanija was asked to go home and report to court on the adjournment date.
