The current president of Argentina, JAVIER MILEI was sworn into office on 10 Dec, 2023. He inherited the worst economy in the history of Argentina & a worse condition than Nigeria. What did he do? He cut govt expenditure, cut the size of govt, cut wastages in govt, blocked stealing of govt funds & corruption, attracted FDI through concessions, tax holidays and improved ease of doing business within the country. He flies regular business class for all his travels, no presidential jet parties for his son. No settlement of his boys and political allies. A lesson for our govt if they want to get us out of the shambles they have thrown us into. It takes determination, competence, knowhow honesty and of course conscience to govern a country.
