Asiwaju of Iree, chief Engineer Adenrele Afolabi has sent a congratulatory message to the new Aree of Iree His Royal Highness Ibrahim Muritala Oyelakin Ibrolak on his successful election as the new Aree of Iree in Boripe local government area of Osun state.
In a release personally signed by the Asiwaju of Iree himself which was made available to Adabanija Global News, Asiwaju of Iree expressed appreciation to the governor of Osun state and the entire Iree community for the selection process which he described as the due process of law.

I, Chief (Engineer) Adenrele Afọlábí wish to congratulate the entire members of The Aree – Ìn – Council on the success of the election of the Ọba Elect, Ọba Ibraheem Muritala Oyelakin (Ibrolak). I equally wish to express my sincere appreciation to you for keeping the peace while the town was in vacuum of an Ọba. The leadership trait of Aree – Ìn – Council is worthy of been showcased amongst the towns in the entire Ọsun State. Without mixing words, it is rear for a town to enjoy love and peace in the absence of an Ọba. I am proud to be associated with you. On this note, I say a Big Thank You to all the members of The Aree – Ìn – Council.
As a New Page of History Book is opened in Iree with the appointment of our Ọba, I want to solicit your support for the Ọba so that we will be speaking with one voice, a virtue Iree is known for in Ọsun State.
The appointment of our Ọba has thrown a fresh challenge to The Aree – Ìn – Council as a lot is expected from you particularly regarding the cultural and traditional roles expected of you. I pray God, Who stood by you especially during the turbulent period of illegality that travailed in Iree, to continue to be your source of support and inspiration as you move ahead with the Ọba.
There is a need to create an awareness for Aree – In – Council of being the cynosure of hope in the eyes of Iree Citizens, home and in diaspora in assisting the New Ọba to establish his feet on a concrete platform. May God guide and lead you in discharging your duties to the benefits of Iree Children and Inhabitants.
