*COVID-19: Osun First Lady Extends Distribution of Palliative to Igbajo and Oke-Bode Towns*
In continuation of the distribution of palliative to the elderly and vulnerables across towns in the state, Mrs. Kafayat Oyetola the wife of the governor of the state of Osun through her nongovernmental organization (IOD initiative) reached out to various homes in igbajo town (Boluwaduro L.G.A) and Oke-Bode (Atakumosa West L.G.A).
Speaking with the Owa of igbajo land Oba Olufemi Adeniyi Fashade (Akeran IV) Mrs. Oyetola stated that her initiative wouldn’t relent its actions in complementing efforts of the government to ensure that the elderly are properly taken care of in this trying times.
She further encouraged the people of igbajo town to take all necessary precautions against the deadly Corona Virus(Covid-19) disease.
The beneficiaries of the palliative in Oke-bode community responded with prayers as they received the representatives of the initiative with joy and promised to obey the sit at home directives of the government to reduce the effect of the spread of the Virus.
