As a Nigerian, you’ve the right to vote and to be voted for, this is part of your civic responsibility and it remains the only power an ordinary citizen has to save her country from bad governance.
This is contained in a brief virtual meeting held by DR RICHARD ADEKOLA IDOWU with his media personnel. He stressed the need for every individuals in EDE, EGBEDORE ,EJIGBO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY to strive so hard to secure their permanent voter’s card(PVC) which gives them the privilege to exercise their civic responsibility as it is the only way they can effect their desired changes and improve good governance.
Dr Richard further speaks passionately on vote buying and selling. He added that for every ordinary Nigerian and specifically people of Ede, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency who clamours for a better life and good governance for themselves and the future generation, they must reject every token offered to them, as this might deprive them securing the good governance desired.
A period of four years is not a joke, it’s a time every citizen should be enjoying what we call dividends of democracy. That is, it’s a time the government should be busy with the provision of these essentials like good infrastructure, basic amenities, standard and affordable educational system, quality health service, improved Agricultural system
and many more.
The moment you receive any amount of money in exchange for your votes and conscience you’ve intentionally deprived/denied yourself the essentials and a full package of the dividends of democracy as mentioned above and most importantly good governance.
An opportunity and support given to DR RICHARD ADEKOLA IDOWU (ADE-ORI-OKIN) will never be taken for granted. That is why he is genuinely seeking the support of the good people of EDE,EGBEDORE,EJIGBO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY come 2023 in the race to become a MEMBER HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (MHR).
