Even after death, Ajimobi lives on.~ Progressives e-Group

Death remains the only destination that all mankind shares, no one has ever escaped it. Death is not the opposite of life but a part of it. Everyone, both rich and poor, young and old, as well as men and women alike will taste it.

Late Senator Isiaka Abiola Akanji Ajimobi (the former governor of Oyo State) had tasted his and it remains a big hit to his immediate family, Oyo State, Nigeria and APC family worldwide. It is a fact to state that he came, saw and conquered.

After a man dies, the legacies he left behind are what make him live forever. The undisputed bridge builder and architect of modern Oyo State would be remembered for his giant strides in bringing development to Oyo State. Operation Burst Initiative (OBI) under his watch that sent criminal elements on exile, massive provision of infrastructural facilities, good healthcare delivery, provision of transport facilities, economic rejuvenation, education reforms amongst other things pursued with passion, insight, dedication, focus and commitment to achieved make his legacies one that can’t be eroded.

The immediate past Acting National Chairman of APC leadership prowess has seen him breaking the jinx his predecessor couldn’t break in the history of governance in Oyo State as he was the first governor to serve for eight years with unprecedented and landmark achievements.

Until his demise, he was a loyal party man, a committed patriot, blunt, fearless before anyone and speaker of truth not minding who’s ox is gored.

As his remains is set to be lowered to the great beyond tomorrow, the 28th day of June, 2020, all of us at Progressives e-Group joins the rest of the world to condole with his family and pray that Almighty Allah forgives all his shortcomings and grant him Aljannat Firdaos. Aamin
