The ancestral Palace of Ataoja of Osogboland, yesterday, Saturday, 8th, July, 2023 witnessed an influx of eminent dignitaries from all walks of life as the highly revered Monarch, His Royal Majesty, Kabiyesi Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun, Larooye ii, Ataoja of Osogbo gave her daughter’s hand in marriage.
The Executive governor of Osun state, His excellency Sen Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke led other distinguished personalities within and outside the state to share in the joy of the Kabiyesi.
Our very distinguished National Assembly member representing Irepodun/Orolu/Olorunda/Osogbo Federal Constituency, Hon (Dr) Morufu Adewale Adebayo ‘GANGARIA’ was fully on ground at the carnival-like event. Other top government officials including the secretary to the state government, Hon Teslim Adekunle Igbalaye Bibiire among other notable indigenes of the town attended the star-studded event.
The atmosphere was spiced up by the Ibadan-born fuji icon, Alhaji Taye Akande Adebisi popularly known as Taye currency. It was really a one-in-town event.
