The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has approved and released a sum of five hundred million for the payments of entitlements to retired workers in Contributory Pensions Scheme.
The names of the beneficiaries were picked on merit and monitored by the executive committee of the Association of the group.
The names of the beneficiaries will be posted on the public notice board of the State Pension Board on Thursday 6th February, 2020.
The bond certificates for the beneficiaries will be presented to the beneficiaries on 14th February, 2020 by the Governor.
In another development, the Governor of the State of Osun Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has released another fifty million Naira for the part payment of gratuities to retirees in the old Pension Scheme.
Two hundred and fifty retirees have been picked on merit for payment. Payment of cheques to the beneficiaries starts from Thursday 6th February, 2020..
The list of the affected retirees are already posted at the Public Notice Boards of the State Pension Bureau and the Ministry of Infirmation.
The Bureau appreciates Mr Governor for being very sensitive to the plight of the pensioners and the workers generally.
