HOW I WAS BEATEN UP BY GOVERNOR OYETOLA’S SECURITY DETAILS AT ILA IN FEBRUARY THIS YEAR -Mr MUFTAU BABATUNDE, a k a AJINANWO.

A popular business man named Muftau Babatunde, popularly known in Ila as Ajinanwo today narrated his experience in the hand of governor Adegboyega Oyetola security details at Ila sometimes around February this year.

On the fateful day according to Mr Ajinanwo, the governor of the state of Osun was passing through the Ila central mosque and it happened to be on the Market day, while passing, Mr governor was given the market people both men and women #2k each and at that juncture Mr Musbau who was crossing the road to the other side of the scene where his shop located advised that instead of giving people #2k each, the governor should Concentrate on other things that will make life better for the people and as well speak with Mr President to do something urgent about hight cost of basic amenities rather than giving people money that can not reach everyone.

According to Mr Ajinanwo, this was all he said and the next thing he would see was Mr governor gave a sign to the security details at the back, who gave him a dirty slap on his face and walked away, he concluded.

I got this information today when I went Ila to see a brother of mine and while I was sitting with my brother who is my host,we were discussing politics as usual and this issue came up which I challenged the person that raised it to proof it and he took me to the victim’s workshop around Ila central mosque where I met the man and asked from him directly what actually transpired, and he gave details and when asked further if he can stand to defend this anytime the need arises, he said he is ready. I made the recording of the interview and attached to this message here.

Under a democratic settings, what this man said does not warrant the kind of treatment he was given by the overzealous security details and this action should be condemn by all.

Our governor is well known as Baba Jeje and this should always reflect in the conducts of all those working with him so that they don’t give the governor and the government bad image.
