INTER-STATE PEACE CONFAB, 2019 ORGANISED BY WORLD INSTITUTE FOR PEACE IN PARTBERSHIP WITH PALACE OF ARAGBIJI WAS A SUCCESSFUL ONE WITH TANGIBLE COMMUNIQUE.

It was indeed an interested educative discourse concerning peace of the land.
The event came up at Iragbiji Town Hall, Aragbiji Palace, Iragbiji, State of Osun where every stakeholders in Osun and members of the public gathered to discuss solutions to various menace that disturbs the peace of Yoruba land, the state and the country at large.
The event was facilitated by our dear organisation World Institute for Peace (WIP) in partnership with Palace of Aragbiji, Iragbiji, State of Osun, hosted by Comrade Lamina Kamiludeen Omotoyosi, Executive Chairman of World Institute for Peace, International and ably chief hosted by His Royal Majesty, Oba (King) Abdul-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, Aragbiji of Iragbiji Land.
Prof. Moji Taibat Bakare-Odunola from University of Ilorin was the Guest Speaker that spoke on the topic “Effective Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Mechanisms” while Hon. Oguntola Mudasiru Toogun, former Commissioner for Special Duty, State of Osun, Hon. Tunde Lekan Olatunji, Chief Whip, Osun House of Assembly and Barr. Bukola Aderibigbe were discussants that discuss the key solutions to various menace in the society at the event while reactions were granted from representative of Commissioner of Police, Osun State ably represented by Police Area Commander, Ikirun Command, Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Boripe Command, the State Commandant of Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), Commandant, Man O’ War, Nigeria, Commandant, Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN), Boripe L.G Command, leadership and members of All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), leadership of fulani-herdsmen, leadership of Bororo Community and Civil Society Organisations.
Representatives of the First Lady, State of Osun also delivered speech on the same topic.

Notice : in the next few days, the book titled “Let There Be Peace” with theme “Effective Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Mechanism” will be launched and presented to the Executive Governor of the State of Osun as our contribution to the development of our nation.
