Olumo of Ejigbo land, RT Hon Najeem Folasayo salaam today met with the leadership of Omoluabi caucus in Egbedore local government area of Osun under the chairmanship of Mr Adeniran a.k.a Baba Adeola at Ido Osun.
The purpose of the meeting centred on mobilization of members to register with the caucus and the need for us to be steadfast in the struggle which he assured all members that will never be in vain.
He advised the leadership of the caucus not to relent in their efforts in mobilizing more people to the Omoluabi caucus.
He praised the leadership qualities of Engineer Ibrahim Adewale Akande who was one time the executive secretary of Egbedore local government area during Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s tenure and prayed to God to heal him completely of any form of ailments that may be hindering his abilities in mobilizing more members to the caucus. He narrated further that despite the health challenges of both Engineer Akande and Mr Adeniran (Baba Adeola) still both leaders are still trying to mobilize people to Omoluabi caucus because of their loyalty to Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
IWALOYE charged the leadership never to leave women and youths behind in the mobilization process because according to Olumo of Ejigbo land women are very important in political activities.
Rt Hon Najeem Folasayo salaam said Egbedore local government is his second home because he is married to women from both Iragberi and Ara so,he is already part and parcel of Egbedore local government and will never shy away from any political challenges and responsibilities from that local government aside Ejigbo local government which happened to be his political base.
Mr Adeniran while welcoming the Olumo to Egbedore appreciate his leadership qualities and thanked him as well for honoring the invitation to visit and meet with Omoluabi Egbedore stakeholders to chat a new course and move the caucus forward.
Hon Adabanija in his speech,thanked hon Najeem Folasayo salaam for the visit and words of encouragement, he explained further that part of the challenges Omoluabi caucus is facing in Egbedore local government area is leadership and financial capacities of those who have volunteered themselves for sponsorship but,which is not possible because of their health challenges.
He charged members to always remember Engineer Ibrahim Adewale Akande in their prayers because if not for him that has taken over the financial burdens of mobilizing people to the caucus since the beginning, the caucus would have faded away due to peculiarity of the local government which has her wards staggered unlike some other local government in Osun.
Members who spoke during the meeting expressed their joy for the visitation of Olumo because he is a rare gem who everybody would want to identify with in any political gathering.
