Just In; Osun house of assembly suspends Osogbo LCDA parliamentarians,referred the notice of impeachment of Olorunda council boss Anisu to house committee on local government.
The state of Osun house of assembly today Monday 30th of December 2019 suspended all parliamentarians in the warring Osogbo South LCDA in the state of Osun for failure of the affected parliamentarians to show up before the house to resolve the issue between them and the Embattled chairman Hon AbdulHakeem Olaoye a.k.a Otaoroju.
The house unanimously took decision today after the house delibrated on the matter and charged the council manager in Osogbo South LCDA to take over the leadership of the local council pending the determination of the matter before the house within seven days effect from today 30th of December 2019.
In another development the house of assembly again received another notification of impeachment of Olorunda local government chairman Hon Anisu from the parliamentarians and referred the same to the house of assembly committee on local government affairs.
The speaker state of Osun house of assembly Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye advised all the parliamentarians to always follow due process in their dealings and allow peace to reign in their respective local government area, he said peace and progress of the state is the main purpose of which the new local council were created and not for crisis and warned them that the house of assembly will not hesitate to take desicive action against any erring local government parliamentarians in the state.
