Nigeria Will Bounce Back, SRJ Assures At Easter
Senator Ajibola Basiru of Osun Central Senatorial District has charged christians and people of other faiths in Nigeria to keep hope alive about the country.
In his Easter message to the people of Osun Central, Senator Basiru felicitates with adherents of Christianity on the occasion of celebration of the resurrection of Jesus christ after his humiliation and eventual crucifixion on the cross of Calvary.
The lawmaker reflects that the events of Munday-Thursday when Jesus was arrested to Good Friday when he was crucified and to Easter Monday when the disciples met him at Galilee after rising from the dead indicate that Nigeria will overcome its challenges and come back fully to life. He however encouraged Nigerans to keep faith in God and raise the hope that the Country is better as an indivisible entity.
“The current economic and security tribulations Nigeria is going through has a place and similitude in the history of arrest, humiliation, crucifixion and eventual resurrection. Since the rise from the dead of Christ provides a solid platform on which Christianity is built, it is certain that the current national crises will be a threshold for a better Nigeria,” Senator Basiru reassures.
Assuring the people of Osun Central of more focused representation and legislation in demonstration of what APC stands for across the strata of governance, the Senate spokesperson called for more support for APC under Governor Adegboyega Oyetola with programmes and policies meant to rekindle the hope of the masses in the State.
