Nobody forced me out of the APC senatorial contest in Osun Central. On the contrary, I constantly resisted being drafted to contest again- Professor Sola Adeyeye.

Contrary to what some people are saying about the senator representing Osun central at the red chamber Abuja about him not return to the senate, here is his response to the rumour of him been forced out of the contestπŸ‘‡

Nobody forced me out of the APC senatorial contest in Osun Central. On the contrary, I constantly resisted being drafted to contest again. I announced more than four years ago that I was no longer interested in being a candidate for any election. I refused to obtain nomination form for the ongoing process.

Indeed, I made myself totally inaccessible to those attempting to draft me. As numerous people sought my support, I consistently and truthfully declared that my wish would be for Dr. Ajibola Basiru or Mr. Titi Laoye- Tomori to emerge as our party’s candidate. I am very happy that one of then did. I am working hard for the success of Bashiru Ajibola. He will win the senatorial contest by a landslide.
