OBOKUN APC WOMEN LEADER’S DEATH A RUDE SHOCK, FRIGHTENING – OLAMIJU, S.A PUBLIC HEALTH.
The Special Adviser to State of Osun Governor on Public Health, Dr Olasiji Olamiju has described the death of Mrs Taiwo Lawal as a rude shock and frightening, expressing his deepest condolences to the party, state and family for the monumental loss.
Mrs Taiwo, who died on Sunday, was the All Progressives Congress (APC) women leader in Ibokun ward 01, Obokun local government area of Osun.
Olamiju, while paying his last respect to the deceased in a condolence message, which he personally signed, described the transition of Mrs Taiwo as “sad and painful,” adding that the state had been denied the services and potentials of a grassroot mobilizer, committed and dedicated politician.
“It’s terrible to hear about the demise of Mrs Taiwo Lawal, a progressive minded woman to the core and I express my sincere sympathy to the family, our party (APC), Obokun local government and the state as a whole.
“I offer you (family) my thoughts, prayers and support during this dark moment in your life. I hope that God brings the family the much-needed peace during this sad time. My condolences for this irreparable loss,” Olamiju said.
The pharmaceutical doctor prayed God to grant the family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and comfort all who mourned the passage of the late woman leader.
