OGBENI RAUF AREGBESOLA AGAIN!
In about two weeks after his Ramadan largesse flood the nooks and cranies of the state of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola yesterday again sent thousands of bags of rice, sugar and other edible items to the stateof Osun for the celebration of Eid-l-fitri.
Sadaqah (voluntary charity) is a virtuous deed in Islam. In fact, it is considered as a proof of one’s eeman (faith).
The more one gives sadaqah the more increase in eeman and thus, expectance of Allah’s rewards both in this world and in the life hereafter.
Qur’an 2 vs 261 provides: مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِینَ یُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَ ٰلَهُمۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنۢبَتَتۡ سَبۡعَ سَنَابِلَ فِی كُلِّ سُنۢبُلَةࣲ مِّا۟ئَةُ حَبَّةࣲۗ وَٱللَّهُ یُضَـٰعِفُ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَٱللَّهُ وَ ٰسِعٌ عَلِیمٌ
“The likeness of those who spend for Allah’s sake is as the likeness of a grain of corn, it grows seven ears every single ear has a hundred grains, and Allah multiplies (increases the reward of) for whom He wills, and Allah is sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower).” (Qur’an, 2:261)
Also Qur’an 2 vs 274 provides: ٱلَّذِینَ یُنفِقُونَ أَمۡوَ ٰلَهُم بِٱلَّیۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ سِرࣰّا وَعَلَانِیَةࣰ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ وَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یَحۡزَنُونَ
“Those who (in charity) spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public have their reward with their Rabb (only God and Sustainer). On them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.” (Qur’an, 2:274).
Yah Allah! Accept these his sadaqah, multiply his rewards in manifolds and grant ALL his heart desires.
