The Oluwo of Iwoland, Ọba (Dr.) AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi, honoured the good people of the Ola Olu community at their annual Ramadan lecture, held in memory of the Late Madam Adelasoye.
The event, under the leadership of Prof. Lai Olurode, brought together eminent Islamic clerics and scholars.
Speaking at the gathering, Oluwo used the opportunity to advocate for stronger preaching against idolatry, urging Muslim clerics to extend their teachings to traditional rulers who still engage in idol worship.
He called on Muslim students to uphold the path of honour and remain steadfast in promoting the oneness of God.
Ọba Adéwálé Akanbi also offered prayers for the sons and daughters of Iwoland, asking for divine wisdom and success in their endeavours.
