If you know how bad the PDP’s case is before the election petition tribunal you will pity their gullibility.
For instance they claimed there was mutilation and alteration of result where APC won election but they were shown before the tribunal where they won and there are cases of mutilation and alteration as well which are even more than where APC won.
We called about eight witnesses in Ede North and South alone where PDP won election and where it was established during the cross examination of the witnesses that indeed there were mutilation and alteration of result and which PDP is the beneficiary of this so,where is point in the PDP claims as far as the outcome of the election is concern?
If those discrepancies observed are to be treated the way PDP wanted it APC will still maintain winning because this happened more in the local government where PDP won and this our legal counsels have been able to proved before the court.
PDP are just feeding their gullible followers with lies to tie them down for the coming election and nothing more.
Where you wish to establish no case submission there is no need of calling any witnesses but in our own case apart from what happened during the cross examinations of the eighty witnesses the PDP called where it was established they have no genuine case before the court the second respondent also called 11 witnesses and closed the defence today while the third respondent will open the defence tomorrow and we are very sure with the record of proceeding so far we have been able to establish that the PDP’s case lack merit and shall be dismissed at the end of the proceedings.
