OSUN ELECTION PETITION TRIBUNAL UPDATE TODAY 09/01/2019
PDP FRAUD HAS BEEN DETECTED IN OPEN COURT.
PDP agent and their lawyer deny the carbon copy of form EC8A given to each of the representative of the parties at the polling unit.
The PDP agent Mr Rasaq Adelani Maeuff of Gbegunde compound in ward 5, unit A Iwo, State of Osun, admitted that he voted, he was there throughout the exercise and later he signed the result sheet (form EC8A) but because the carbon copy given to them was not clearer as that of white on which they sign, , they said it was fake.By the time they ask them about other party agents, they now shouting I see myself. I know myself.
The summary of the allegation of the PDP witness is that, the information like number of accredited voters, number of used and unused ballot papers, number of rejected and spoiled ballot papers were not filed in the form EC8A and because of that, the result of that polling unit should be nullified, he tendered the copy of form EC8A given to him, truly it was discovered on the copy given to him were not cleared but were very cleared on the form EC8A produced by the inec which is the same, on which all the informations were recorded.
The witness knowing very well that the information were recorded but was fainted on the copy given to him and not show clear been the carbon copy, when confronted with the pink copy of form EC8A given to other party agents, he deny ever seen any other party agent on the day of election and denied his signature on the other pink copies, even though everybody know that the signatures are the same.
The court now said, APC counsel should wait until their witness come and tender their own and tender their own pink copy for comparism.However in the court, it was clearly to everybody that PDP case is fraudulent.
