OYETOLA ADOPTS PROGRESSIVES e-GROUP AS A WORKING PARTNER IN HIS GOVERNMENT.
The governor elect in the just concluded state of Osun gubernatorial election who was also the former chief of staff to Ogbeni Aregbesola administration, Alhaji GNOYEGA OYETOLA has adopted the Progressives e -group as a working partner in his government.
He stated this during a courtesy familiarization visit to him in his office. The visit that happened to be the first after his victory at the poll was enthusiastically embraced by the governor elect seeing the group as a major tool in his bid to secure the highest elective seat in the State of Osun.
While delivering his short speech,the chairman transition committee ,Barrister Adediran Muftau Abiodun congratulated HisExcellency Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola for the victory at the poll despite the constraints . He appreciated the kind gesture of the governor elect on his extention of hand of fellowship to the group in the past. He added that the newly elected executives of the Progressives e-group have also come on the platform of familiarization with the governor elect.
He quickly took the governor elect on a short history of how Progressives e-group came into being and our activities so far and reiterated that the group will continue to support and promote our government and party at all time and to play advisory role when duty calls for it. We re majorly to support good governance.
In his response ,the governor elect,Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola congratulated thegroup for a successful election and transition that has taken place in the group. He said the group democratic credentials is very excellent have been very consistent over the time.
He added that the social media has taken over the space of information dissemination,you have taken over the space and i want you to continue to dominate the space. I implore you to work as a team,don’t allow yourself to be used. I am happy you are all promising young men,the future is bright for you. He added that the Progressives e-group shall be a working partner in his government
The coordinating coordinator of the group ,comr. Abiona Wahab in his closing remarks affirmed we are all together,strong and united,he said this to debunk the lies that the group members apart. He thereafter appreciated the governor elect for the fatherly advice to the group and concluded by welcoming the offer of the governor elect to be a working partner his government. It was a nice time with Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola.
