Osun gubernatorial race,former speaker, Dr Najeem Salaam declares interest.
As the race for Osun governorship election coming up next year gathering momentum, the former speaker of the state of Osun house of assembly, Rt honourable Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam has declared interest in the governorship seat.
The former speaker made this known to the newsmen today during a media chat.
The Oluomo of Ejigbo land is the first person to declare his governorship ambition under the All Progressives Congress (APC) after the incumbent governor Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola who is also said to be nursing ambition for second term in office, but yet to make public declaration.
The former speaker said his desire to serve the people of the state was the main reason behind his declaration.
