Osun State Governor Presents Cheques to Beneficiary Communities for Micro Projects

In a significant move to boost community development and empowerment, Osun State Governor, His Excellency Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has presented cheques to beneficiary communities for micro projects in the state.

The beneficiary communities are Iwara and Telemu in Olaoluwa Local Government benefited boreholes, Aluko and Onikan in Irewole Local Government and Odeomu, Ekosin and Manyore in Ayedaade Local Government also benefited boreholes.

The presentation ceremony, held today Friday the 30th of August 2024, brought together key stakeholders, including the Commissioner for Community Affairs Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community and Social Development Projects Alhaji Nurudeen Emiloju, and the general manager of the agency Mrs. Funmi Abokede (Community And Social Development Agency).

In his remarks, the Governor emphasized the importance of community-driven initiatives in driving sustainable development and improving the lives of citizens. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting grassroots projects that align with the state’s development goals.

The Commissioner for Community Affairs Alh AbdulGanih Olaoluwa Asejere and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Community and Social Development Projects, Alh (Hon) Nurudeen Emiloju presented the cheques to the beneficiary communities on behalf of the Governor. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude and pledged to utilize the funds judiciously to execute projects that would benefit their communities.

This initiative demonstrates Governor Adeleke’s dedication to inclusive governance and community engagement, ensuring that resources reach the grassroots and positively impact the lives of Osun State citizens.
