AJIBOLA BASIRU, YOU ARE DOING WELL – PA HASSAN SUNMONU
The famous former labour leader, Alh Hassan Sunmonu has commended the representation of Osun central senatorial district by Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Ajibola Basiru.
The octogenarian labour leader said the commendation this evening when the senator paid him a courtesy visit in his home.
The labour leader said: ” I don’t pretend because I expect nothing from anybody so there is no reason for me not to say things as it is. SRJ, you are doing very well in your representation at the senate & your relationship with your constituent whenever you are around is but commendable”.
On the football match played at the Osogbo city stadium yesterday, the labour leader said: “Your team did well yesterday. I was able to assess both teams because I was a footballer as a young man. The 15 minutes the winner had to dribble your boys was what they utilized and converted to goals.”
Pa Sunmonu continued,” I love your statement that the winner and first rurner up were both from your Osun central.”
“I can say it categorically that so far so good you are doing well,” Baba concluded.
Thereafter, the duo discussed sundry issues bordering on the development of the nation at large and the state of Osun in particular.
With the distinguished senator during the visit were Hon. Taofeek Badmus (Honourable member representing Osogbo state constituency at the state House of Assembly).Hon.
