President Tinubu/Rauf Aregbesola’s feud, why reconciliation may not be possible.

Good morning fellow Nigerians most especially the South Westerners (Yorubas)
I have come again  this morning to lend my voice as usual to the lingering crisis between the president of the federal Republic of Nigeria🇳🇬 Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his erstwhile political godson OgbĂ©ni Rauf Aregbesola.

Some people may be asking why my continue discussing this issue on my page or what does i intend to gain from it. The reason is not far fetched,I would like to expose some hidden facts that i knew about the issue to educate people and to set the record straight on what some disgruntled elements tagged BETRAYAL.

THE MAIN ISSUE:
The Genesis of the crisis was Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s lifelong ambition to rule Nigeria as president of which he was already seeing OgbĂ©ni Rauf Aregbesola as the anchor of his campaign base on their long time political relationship. Everybody know the relationship between Rauf Aregbesola and Asiwaju at a point has gotten to a level that nobody could come in between them and base of this,Asiwaju had it in mind the crucial roles he wanted OgbĂ©ni to play in this regards, and this was what exactly caused issue between the two leaders when their interest clashed.

HOW DO I MEAN BY CLASHED OF INTEREST?
We all know how the political merger that birthed Buhari’s presidency was hatched and executed and sealed with the agreement that after Buhari’s presidency,it is South West turn and particularly TINUBU,if you are hearing “EMILOKAN” it was not just a slogan but a reminder of the agreement between the gladiators at the beginning of the merger that brought about Buhari’s presidency.

Aiming at actualizing this long term ambition and the roles Asiwaju wanted OgbĂ©ni to play in this journey,Asiwaju did not support OgbĂ©ni Rauf Aregbesola to become a minister under Buhari’s presidency in 2019 for his own ambition to be actualized, but instead of Asiwaju to come out openly to tell his political son (Rauf) this,he kept it in himself and started scheming instead.

As Asiwaju was nursing the ambition of ruling Nigeria as president and Rauf Aregbesola too though also would love to be president but never had it in mind to struggle or drag presidency with his boss unless with the endorsement of Asiwaju,he was also nursing the ambition of becoming a minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria after governorship in 2018.
If Ogbéni had wanted to be a senator,he had two available for him in 2019,either in Lagos or Osun state but, because he never wanted to become a senator then,he declined.
Asiwaju non supporting OgbĂ©ni Rauf Aregbesola’s ministerial wasn’t born out of hatred or anything other than for OgbĂ©ni to be able to be in charge of Asiwaju’s presidential campaigns as he did between 1998/99/ to 2003 and Asiwaju’s fear then almost came to fruition in 2022/2023 when the contention for presidency was heat.

Because Asiwaju never supported Rauf Aregbesola to become a minister, all praises and accolades OgbĂ©ni poured on him on the floor of Senate during his ministerial screening never moved Asiwaju because he was already seeing OgbĂ©ni as a threat to his presidential ambition and he did everything politically to bring Rauf Aregbesola down from that seat if not for President Muhammadu Buhari’s determination and insistence that Rauf Aregbesola will remain his minister, OgbĂ©ni wouldn’t have completed his tenure as a minister under Buhari.
ANOTHER ANGLE TO FAILED RECONCILIATION MOVES:
Before OgbĂ©ni Rauf Aregbesola and Asiwaju parted ways politically,we all know OgbĂ©ni was like second in command to Asiwaju, this did not go down well with some political gladiators in Lagos State, they were envying OgbĂ©ni political influence on Asiwaju and they later seized the opportunity of the feud between Rauf Aregbesola and Asiwaju to launch their attacks on OgbĂ©ni and making sure that all reconciliation moved were frustrated. Though non of these elements could  fill the vacuum OgbĂ©ni left in Asiwaju’s political dynasty till now but they are already seeing the crisis as an advantage for them to strive politically even though they have not been able to fill the gap, should Asiwaju and Rauf come together again, they may not be relevant politically again.
MAGNANIMITY EXPECTED OF ASIWAJU AFTER WINNING PRESIDENCY WITHOUT RAUF.
This is my personal opinion and not for any others except those who may align with my position on it. From all of the above,i don’t see where the word “BETRAYER’ reflect at all and if at all it would fit in, Rauf Aregbesola was betrayed by Asiwaju and not the other ways round and I will explain why i say this.
The same Rauf Aregbesola that would have became a deputy governor in Osun in 2002 on a platter but,he sacrificed it to support his boss second term ambition, would have sacrificed ministerial appointment of Buhari if Asiwaju had opened up for him and let him see reason why he should not accept the offer, but instead of this,Asiwaju started schemings and went to the extent of wanting him removed as a minister after he had been appointed by Buhari.Who is now a betrayer?
Personally if i have my voice heard by Asiwaju,I would have counseled him to be magnanimous in victory and reconcile with his political son OgbĂ©ni Rauf Aregbesola, doing this won’t cost Asiwaju anything because after becoming president of Nigeria🇳🇬 he can never become God Almighty and being magnanimous will earn him more respect and strength than being vindictive in power because the ways of God is not the ways of man.
As usual, this is my personal observations and opinions and i am not writing this to impress anyone but, just to express myself as usual.
I remain the same person Adabanija Kamorudeen Oladepo Mayegun a.k.a đ€đ€đžđ€đšđšđ€đšđš.
