The saying that a leader is not considered successful until he has been succeeded by another achiever succinctly describes the transition from Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to His Excellency, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in our dear state of Osun.
This is an extract from the congratulatory message from Senator Ajibola Basiru of Osun Central Senatorial District to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and his amiable Deputy, Mr Benedict Alabi on their first anniversary in office.
Senator Basiru prayed that the Almighty will continue to be with the Governor and his team and guide him in running the affairs of our precious state. He commended the Governor for maintaining peace and tranquility in the state and for his passion to make Osun livable for all.
“I want to assure the people of the State in general and Osun Central in particular of a better life to come from the Governor. I appeal to members of our party to remain united behind His Excellency, Alhaji Oyetola and to also avoid divisive tendencies from any quarter to enable the administration to achieve more as peace is instrumental in achieving success.”
Senator Ajibola Basiru thereafter wishes Alhaji Oyetola more success in office in service to God and humanity.
