So far before the tribunal went on brake for an hour at about few minutes after 1 O’Clock five witnesses have been called to testified before the honorable tribunal namely (1) Mr Odesanmi Franchis Adeniyi Owode Ilesha road Osogbo a retired civil servant who served as PDP party agent at unit 008 ward 8 Osogbo local government.
He admitted during cross examination that he was duly accredited by the INEC officer and allowed to vote but his complained was that the numbers of accredited voters did not appeared on the pink copy of the result he signed and given to him after the results were announced but he is not disputing the numbers allocated to each parties in the disputed election as it tallies with the numbers of votes scored.
Witness number two is Mr Adigun Taofeek Olatubosun from Oke Baale Osogbo a fashion designer by profession and the PDP party agent on the election day, unit 009 ward 11
He also admitted that accreditation of voters were conducted and everybody voted on election day but also complained about the outcome of the election after the winner was announced in the presence of all party agents.
Under cross examination by the defence counsel he also admitted he signed the original result copy after the votes were counted and results announced.
Witness number three is Mr Oladiran Sunmiboye Sunday from Oyere in Ife North local government, he was the PDP party agent during the disputed governorship election.
He also admitted during the cross examination by the defence counsel that votes went on peacefully on election day and that he and other voters were allowed to vote and their votes were counted by the presiding officer in the presence of all party agents but he also complained about the numbers of accredited voters which he claimed was not written on the copy of the pink paper which he signed and given to him after the results of the election were announced in the presence of all party agents but during the cross examination he could not proof it that the results were indeed manipulated.
Witness number four is Mr Akinyemi Idowu from Boluwaduro Ilesha.
He claimed he was the PDP party agent on the election day and he was accredited and allowed to vote as well but he also complained about the outcome of the election.
Under cross examination by the Defence counsel Mr Akinyemi Idowu admitted he have two different type of signatures which he was asked to append on a plain sheet of paper which he did and was admitted as well as an exhibit by the tribunal.
While he also complained about the numbers of accredited voters which he claimed are not written on the result sheet given to him but he did not disputed the votes recorded for each party during the election.
Mr Abdul Salam Nuah who is the last witness taken before the tribunal went on brake admitted that though his name was not the one forwarded to the INEC as the PDP party agent for the election but that of another woman named Akanmu Ganiyat who he claimed had defected to ADP a week before the election day which prompted the decision of the party to replace her name with his on the election day.
Mr Abdul Salam Nuah who also admitted that the election went smoothly and ADP won the election in his polling unit 8 ward 6 in Iwo local government.
During the cross examination by the defence counsel he also admitted it was the ADP that won the election according to the result duly signed by him and all other party agents on the election day and he was begging the court to annul the result because according to him the numbers of accredited voters did not appeared on the pink copy of the result given to him even though the party that won the election was not joined as defender in the petition.
